Sort of like something from a dream. It's awesome. I really like the angle at which you drew it, it definitely gives it the feel as if you (the viewer) are up there right with the dragon. The colors are wonderful, the intensity and vividness work very well with this piece. I especially like the dragon and the background, but the tower is awesome too! I also like the sun. I was trying for a dreamy look, like in the N-E S. the angle was accidental, but I decided that it was the view of someone approaching the tower from the air, perhaps that's why the dragon is flaming a challenge, maybe it doesn't want you to be there?" | |

| 18 Feb 2004 |  Joseph M. Spicer | Loading... I think the mountains in the back may just be a little too tall and pointy, as opposed to the ones in the front, which look shorter and rougher. But they still look great, even if they don't look entirely realistic.
Though, I actually didn't realize what the tower was until I read the description. At first I thought it was a very large splash where something had been dropped (by the dragon?) into the water. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it rose from under the water and thought that it looked a bit like a tree.
Maybe I'm just crazy, though. ^_^; | |
